The end of our great season is approaching.
Congratulations to Bulletproof for winning the season!! Well done ladies.
Our playoff weekend is Saturday and Sunday September 10th and 11th. Teams set up their tents (first come, first served) and spend the day playing and watching games. There will be extra porta-potties, but we will not have a food truck this year so be sure to bring food and drinks! BBQs are not allowed at the park. We will have 50/50 draws so be sure to bring cash.
And most importantly we will be collecting food for the Fareshare Food Bank and toiletries for the Halton Women’s Shelter on both days.
Nancy will collect the food donations at the Viva team tent and needs are:
CANNED ITEMS
- Meat (Ham, Chicken, Corned Beef, Luncheon)
- Fruit
- Peas
- Baked Beans
- Tomatoes
- Salmon, Sardines, Tuna
- Chunky Soup
DRY GOODS
- Rice (700gm to 950gm)
- Instant Coffee (Regular and Decaf)
- Pasta/Rice Side Dish
- Crackers
- Cookies
- Jam
- Breakfast Cereal
- Tea (Regular, Green, Herbal)
- Toiletries
KIDS SNACKS
- Nut free cereal bars
- Pudding/Fruit cups
The Fareshare Food Bank will also take cash donations
Jackie will collect the toiletries at the Sense of Hearing team tent and needs are:
PLEASE NOTE ALL ITEMS MUST BE NEW.
Priority Items:
- Non-perishable food items (school-safe snacks, canned goods, pasta etc.)
- Double-sized sheet sets
- Pyjamas for children and women of all sizes (including extended sizes and male teens)
- Hair products for women of colour
Baby Item Needs:
- Baby bathtubs
- Baby toys
- Activity play mats (preferably gender neutral)
- Teething toys
- Pedialyte
Gift Card Needs:
- Grocery Stores
- Amazon

Our banquet is Friday, September 23. This is a great end to our season, with dinner, dancing and awards! Please check your emails for the ticket order form or reach out to Anne or Wendy for more info.
No paper tickets will be generated, simply check in with our social Gals at the banquet to have your name checked. Please buy your tickets by Sunday, September 11.
